Emu oil is a very nice oil.
Yesterday I received half a liter Emu Oil.
But where did I get it? And what's it for?
I have been using Emu Oil before and I liked it. I first bought 10 mL of Emu and Rosehip Oil in the webshop KissfromNature. The delivery was very fast, just a couple of days!
The price for this one was €6,50 including the shipping costs. I only bought this Emu Oil in roller form. It was neatly packaged in an envelope with bubblewrap. Around itself, there was plastic. The container is from glass and it has a plastic top.

It’s a clear oily substance that comes from the Emu bird as a bypoduct.
It comes out of their hump. It’s a byproduct because they use the rest of this bird for his meat. So there is no cruel murdering happening around there! This means this product ain’t suitable for vegans.
It can reduce itchiness and irritation which many skin problems have and it has a natural anti-bacterial agent that promotes healing and reduces scarring! Those I mentioned before are perfect for pimples, but it's even more beautiful because it is non-comedogenic. Non-comedogenic means that it doesn't clog any pores or causes acne!

I liked it very much so I liked to receive some more. I started looking on Ebay and ended up in the shop ‘Emu Oil House’ from the user ron.magnet. Besides they sell only the pure oil, they also sell other products that are related to Emu Oil. They also sent to me very quicly. It came in yesterday the 3rd of November and we bought it the 29th of October. So it only took five days with a weekend in it as well and It comes out of the UK. It also came in an envelope with bubblewrap and plastic.
I repotted some of this emu oil with a syringe into the empty bottle from my KissfromNature order.
For the face: acne, Rosacea, Eczema, fine lines or crows feet, cold sore, shaving, irritated nose, etc!
For the hair or the head: hairmask against dandruff or a thight scalp and bald patches.
Body: Eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, burns, cuts and scrapes, bruising, dry skin, healing of tattoo’s, scars and striae and diaper rash.
Well, as you can see there are a lot of purposes!
Emu oil is antibacterial and it is transdermal. This means it will go through all layers of the skin and it will end up in the bloodstream. If you want to mix emu oil with other essential oils or creams, please watch out because of this. You can also test some of the mixtures on a little patch of the skin. It has no problems with foundation or makeup, it doesn't suck makeup into the skin when your skin already absorbed the oil.
If your emu oil is solidified, you can put it in a glass of warm water for roughly 15 minutes and then it’s all good to go!

So yes, I have tried Emu Oil before, but I can’t judge already. I only used it for more than a week, which is not really a good testing period for a skin product. The skin changes the cells within one month, so I’ll have to try the product for one month! Sure there is more to be coming up on this wonderful oil.
I saw this oil when I was in Canada, but Serena from Beautylab conceived me and many others to buy it as well.

What I can say so far about it: it doesn’t leave a oily layer on the skin, it does lighten up scars so far as I know and it is very saving. I used 10 mL everyday for about one week on my face and back and on 6 acne scars on my chest.
Certainly stay tuned!

Echt waar? Ik kende het helemaal niet. Maar als ik lees waar je het allemaal voor kan gebruiken. Echt? Ook voor wallen? Of als masker? OMG, dan moet ik het hebben. En het is toch best wel een koopje. €6,50 inclusief verzendkosten. Liefs, xxxx
